COLOUR

Brick red with some darker purple hues.

NOSE

A rustic, dark and complex wine. Blood plum, blackberry, mulberry with hints of redcurrants. Notes of earth and brick dust provide a savoury complexity to the aroma profile. 

PALATE

Classically savoury red and dark fruits with a full-bodied palate. Barbera can have amazing depth of fruit and a plethora of brick dust-like tannin, that drives the depth and length of the palate. The dark primary fruits carry to the palate and combine with a clean, natural acidity. 

Enjoy alongside a charcuterie board of cured meats and selections of cheese, or a nice  bowl of tomato sugo pasta.
